Fascinating, Stas; would you like to make the change to the trunk yourself, or should I do it? Danenberg 15:15, 16 Mar 2005 (CST)
StasFomin 15:40, 16 Mar 2005 (CST): How I can access this subversion tree?
Use your Subversion client (http://subversion.tigris.org) to get the latest development snap shot: svn co http://svn.wikitex.org/wikitex/trunk wikitex
Where to register? Or anonymous can commit? (I never use SVN, but I think it is similar to CVS).
- Anonymous commits are allowed for the time being; SVN is almost identical to CVS. Danenberg 22:45, 18 Mar 2005 (CST)
There is some more features in Metapost I will to explore (for further integration): two-phase tex/latex/metapost compilation, non-latin fonts/encodings... .
- Sounds exciting. Danenberg 22:45, 18 Mar 2005 (CST)
By the way, "gnuplot" inclusion need some work: if gnuplot syntax incorrect, no diagnostics returns to user.
- Do you have an example? This seems to work:
WikiTeX failure:Danenberg 22:45, 18 Mar 2005 (CST)5, Fault 1: 'class 'modtex.execution.ExecutionError':(70, ' ploot x ^ "plot.gp", line 7: invalid command ')'
What is "official" status of WikiTex? It will be "certified" and included to Wikipedia?
- WikiTeX is developed under MediaWiki, and comes up periodically for review; the last indication I got from Brion Vibber was that we needed to work out a less ad-hoc security system. I hope to address that in 1.1, when we move to a
chroot-based security system, and ditch the ol' blacklists. Danenberg 22:45, 18 Mar 2005 (CST)
