Talk:Wikitex usability review
I really support wikitex on wikipedia. Althought the code seems perfect I see some usability issues on it, that would complicate wikipedia as a whole. So I wrote this review. I hope I could help more, but i know bubbles about PHP or C++ programming.
There are also a version with Images on Wikipedia.
On the wikimedia community there is right now a great talk on the creation of Wikinews. I think that after this talks cools down, it would be the perfect time to add that topic on the wikimedia meta-wiki.
Another thing. When applied to wikipedia, just to bring some publicity over it, we should wirte the Wikipedia Official Anthem, a collaborativelly created music that would never be ready, but always changing as new users contributed.

- An insightful essay, Alexandre; thank you. The changes you outlined would contribute to WikiTeX' ease of use; and now that our code base has stabilized, it's simply a question of man-power. Danenberg 20:09, 30 Jan 2005 (CST)
- This would be brilliant, to have an actual web-based sheet music / tablature editor that isn't too hard to learn. --126.96.36.199 05:39, 15 Apr 2005 (CDT)
Templates can be used now to separate wikitex code from article content, see http://folktunes.wikisophia.org/index.php/Sandbox#Include_test --Forresto 23:36, 3 May 2005 (CDT)
I had a very similar idea for moving tables out of the main article wikitext and into their own namespace, included in articles with [[Table:table example]] markup. See Proposal for Table: namespace and intuitive table editor. Omegatron 11:31, 20 Oct 2005 (CDT)
